However with my current project i think i am well on the way to getting a build up and running.
Global Racing
Current just a working title. Global racing combiens my love of mario galaxy with the fast action of car racing.
Now i love mario galaxy since it was first announced, the feeling of exploring spherical worlds really blew my mind initially, as it stands it has a huge influence of all my projects. I love the idea of space exploration and galaxies.
Global racing takes the concept of spherical world and adds in fast paced car racing. As you drive the world will rotate along the track showing tons of new buildings and exploring more of the planet.
My initial plan is to create numerous levels based on current earth continents, for example a United States level would have numerous United States icons such as the grand canyons or some other favourite icons (Mt Rushmore)
Here is an example of how a france level might look. This is based on one of my favourite iphone games snake galaxy.
I love the idea of mini planets and racing just seems like a natural fit.

Here is my initial start using Unity.
Current plan is to
1) Focus on the actual car physics/handling, successfully driving around the globe
2) Add Some waypoints and checkpoints for a basic track outline
3) Add Some ai to successfully drive the track
4) Tweak Tweak Tweak and then introduce art.
